IMPACT-BASED WARNINGS
A. Yellow level 1 warning for wind and waves resulting in Difficulty in navigation at sea between Port Alfred and Kosi Bay.
B. Yellow level 1 warning for damaging winds which may lead to localised damage to settlements and flying debris along the KZN coast.
C. Yellow level 1 warning for disruptive snow is expected over the southern Drakensburg over the Eastern Cape, and the extreme south-western parts of KZN.

Temperature: Cloudy at times and cold but cool in the north.

Mpumalanga
Temperature: Partly cloudy at first, otherwise cloudy at times and cool but cold over the southern Highveld and Escarpment areas.Drizzle expected on the eastern Highveld.
Limpopo
Temperature: Partly cloudy and cool but cloudy at times in the east with drizzle patches along the Escarpment. It will be warm in paces in the western Bushveld.
North West
Temperature: Fine, windy and cool to warm, but partly cloudy over the north-eastern parts.
Free State
Temperature: Fine and cold to warm, but partly cloudy over the central and the western parts.
Northern Cape
Temperature: Fine, windy and cold to cool but partly cloudy over the central parts.Frost can be expected over the interior in the morning.
Wind: Wind along the coast: Moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly but strong from afternoon.
Western Cape
Temperature: Partly cloudy to cloudy in the extreme south at first, otherwise fine and cold but cool along the west coast. Frost can be expected over the northern interior in the morning.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be Fresh to strong south-easterly to easterly north of Saldanha Bay, but fresh to strong north-westerly becoming south-easterly to easterly east of Cape Agulhas, otherwise light and variable becoming fresh southerly to south-easterly from late afternoon.

Eastern Cape
The Western half: Cloudy with isolated showers and rain along the coast and adjacent interior, otherwise partly cloudy and cold with morning frost, becoming fine over the interior in the afternoon.
The Western half – The wind along the coast will be Moderate to fresh westerly, becoming north-easterly from late afternoon.
The Eastern half: Very cold with light morning snow over the southern Drakensberg, otherwise partly cloudy and cold with morning frost, but cloudy with isolated showers and rain in places along the coast and adjacent interior.
The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be Moderate to fresh south-westerly, becoming north-easterly from late afternoon.
KwaZulu-Natal
Temperature: Morning fog over the interior, otherwise cloudy and cool but cold in the west with isolated showers and rain but scattered along the coast.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be Fresh to strong south-westerly becoming moderate in the afternoon.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.
